A Range Guide for Scott Genius

The cycle lovers would be delighted to know that Scott Genius has hit the trails with all the latest technologies and it is quite fair to say that this bike has the potential to be one of the most successful Trail bikes of the year. This time, it is back with the revised frame and geometry design which closely mirrors the hugely divine Spark Scott Genius with its features of plush 150mm for travel at both front and the rear view. It also has a clever Twinloc remote system which allows the rider to reduce the rear travel and improve out the pedaling efficiency. This happens when the compression damping is increased. This also means that these bicycles perform they have never ever performed with their big volume tires and the new rocker link called the Trunnion Mount shock. It performs excellently well on the trails. Scott Genius also has the capability to switch between the tires which makes it one of the most versatile full-suspension bikes in the cycle industry. It allows the riders a simple flip of the shocking clip. All you need to do is choose the right size of the wheel for the route you are on and all is done. The riders would be glad to know that the frame is available in the full carbon, allow options and as a matter of fact, this bike is a helluva bike!

What’s new in Scott Genius
A Boosting technology

1. Boost is the drivetrain and hub standard which is developed by SRAM and is built around the cycles for a wider rear. It also enables the front hub and stiffer wheels due to the wider spoke that braces up the angle while riding.
2. It is designed as a complete system so that the drivetrain performance of the bike is not compromised. It pushes the cogs outboard for around 3 millimeters and the crank-arm Q-factor will remain the same as the system’s crank-set.
3.It utilizes the chain-rings which sits as a corresponding 3 mm outward to ensure that the ride is as per the required chain-line.
4. Boost cranks is one of the things that can only be paired with the 148mm hub. On the front of the hub spacing, it is increased by 10mm to 110mm that leads to the increased wheel stiffness.
With this, there is a greater clearance for the larger tires. This is one of the main benefits of the Boost technology. Then there is a 3mm outboard chainring which adds clearance in the stay area. Then there is also a stiffness part in the frame that improves and with a wider range of positions of the rear wheel, the geometry frame can be adjusted well. This allows Scott to shorten the chain-stays for better agile handling.
Have a happy ride with Scott Genius!
